As -One Release 6.0 Synaptic, available now, adds significant program and resource management functionality. The upgrade represents a cognitive transformation of the product -- allowing it to process task information with more specificity, and manage the item, user, and group security faster, and with crisper clarity. The upgrade is targeted for users at organizations that havemultiple projects, multiple programs of projects, and efforts that vary from quick to complex. The network of new features in this release include earned value, cross-functional teams, configurable reminders , synchronization with Microsoft? Outlook? and compatibility with Netscape. The upgrade also builds on the improved navigation from 5.0 with a new My Workspace page that is even more flexible.

As-One also includes the ability to import time and expense information, and eliminates the need for double entry of actual data . As-One allows you to view planned vs. actual data by resource, by task, and by team. In addition, the groups of projects (or programs) you set in the Projects Portal, appear in the Time & Expenses view, allowing you to see how your program is progressing and then focus in on projects within the program. As-One has a bi-directional interface with Microsoft(R) Project 98 and Microsoft Project 2000. You can develop your schedule in either of these tools and then import it into As-One.
